Our AYNI wants foreigners and Aymaras to help each other mutually with the foreigners learning and satisfying their curiosity about this beautiful culture and Aymaras receiving cooperation though the sale of their artisan products and through donations. This way their culture is respected and maintained while improving their prospects for a better future.

Hotel Rosario is an intermediary in this process providing their guests with a space where they can find answers to their questions about local traditions, about the city and about everything that makes up both the ancient and present day Aymara culture. For the Aymaras and the meztizos of both the city and the country we have a space for them to offer their products. Some producers display samples only and we direct you to their workshops where you can buy directly from them---by passing the intermediaries who sometimes take advantage of artisans with few economic resources. This space also serves for helping our visitors who would like to make donations to institutions, hospitals, artisans etc.

 

AYNI in the Aymara culture means a reciprocal relationship where two different people help each other mutually because each one is lacking what the other has. In an AYNI a service is offered knowing that in the future this help will be returned in kind.
