Within its ecological mission, the Hotel Rosario includes water treatment and the saving of energy. 

All hot water is heated by solar panels. At this altitude and with the splendid La Paz sun the water is rapidly heated. When the weather is cloudy for several days, natural gas heaters are used. Toilets and showers have water saving devices.

The detergents we use are biodegradable and we use a minimum of plastic glasses and bags.

Plastic bottles are recycled and picked up by an orphan.

Paper is used in both sides. Envelopes are reused for internal communications. Left over paper is recycled at the toilet paper factory.

We donate used blankets, towels and tablecloths to homes for the elderly and orphanages as well as to natural disaster campaigns.
