The holly stone and an altar are 100 meters south from Chincana, on the path that comes from Challapampa, close to this enormous rock you can see the footprints of the main God Wiracocha, which according to the myth, came walking and burned the ground.

The myth says that Wiracocha, the native's God, chose the Sun Island for the creation of the Universe, commanding the Sun and the Moon to illuminated and give warmth to a small human race. The exact place of the creation was the holly rock Tixi Karka (Titikaka), which means puma shaped stone. For many years, this holly rock, was the destination of a pilgrimage which started in Copacabana, going along the peninsula through ancient Inca trails and catching a reed boat in Yampupata sailing towards the Sun Island. Once there, the peregrines continued through the main trail on the Sun Island to finally reach the holly stone near Chincana temple.
